Maybe I psyched myself up for it, and therefore I could handle it. But I feel like Daisy Whitney does the whole spectrum of emotions in such a wonderful way. Even when there's sadness it's not too heavy, because even though it feels real there's also hope and lighthearted moments as well. Kind of like real life. =)Ashley @ Book Labyrinthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395484656811182553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8478898940547681471.post-48409953199894328662013-05-28T21:17:01.418-04:002013-05-28T21:17:01.418-04:00Yes, it's SO rare, but so well done here.Yes, it's SO rare, but so well done here.Ashley @ Book Labyrinthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395484656811182553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8478898940547681471.post-86349530285847033312013-05-23T18:37:59.445-04:002013-05-23T18:37:59.445-04:00This was on Netgalley?? So sad I missed it, but it's out already and I can just get a copy now:) This book was on my list of most anticipated books of 2013 and exactly, because Sarah Ockler is so special with words as you say! Thank you so much for your review. Now I want to read When You Were Here even more than before.Miss Page-Turnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10518771814158045590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8478898940547681471.post-15998999747719453032013-05-23T15:57:55.237-04:002013-05-23T15:57:55.237-04:00Ooo, so much love? Poor guy -- but I love that he's a strong narrator.Mary @ BookSwarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04099395167194720599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8478898940547681471.post-63399244981295802112013-05-23T09:17:59.191-04:002013-05-23T09:17:59.191-04:00Yay-another positive review! I'm really glad to hear about a platonic relationship between a teenage guy and girl-so unusual in YA.The Insouciant Sophisticatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03934853089105345052noreply@blogger.com
