This one seems to be getting a lot of hype. It sounds great, though... a republic at war, a privileged girl hunting down her sister's killer. Suspense, action, & romance? Yes please.





The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

You guys know that I hate insta-love, but I'm definitely intrigued by this premise. It's set over a period of 24 hours and it involves two people with very cool names (Hadley and Oliver). Oliver just happens to be a cute British guy. Um yes, I think I'll check this one out!

Sprawling gothic mansion, hot new stepbrother (ooer?), ghosts... I don't even know what all, but it sounds fabulous! Plus I just love the cover.

So, this book is described as a "YA novel for fans of Veronica Mars." Me? Sold! Plus it's a historical novel, set during WWII. A teen girl helping out at her Dad's detective agency. And there's a boy! And dancing!

This one is a more serious read, about a town torn apart by a hate crime. Skylar has to deal with whether to testify against her boyfriend as well as figure out why she would be with him in the first place.




Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs

The series is called "Medusa Girls": do you really need more than that? But seriously, TLC writes some very fun mythology based books, and I'm sure this one will be great.

I'm a massive Kieran Scott fan, as well as a fan of the Private books which she writes under the name Kate Brian. 'She's So Dead to Us' was a great book, and I can't wait for more Ally & Jake!!

Where She Went by Gayle Forman

I have to say that I'm late to the game with wanting to read this one. I avoided 'If I Stay' like the plague for a while, because sometimes I really can't handle sad books... however, I decided to give it a go, and I'm so glad I did. I can absolutely handle sad books when they're as beautiful and hopeful as 'If I Stay', so I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens in this one.

I first heard of this book when I signed up for the Contemps challenge, and I can't wait to read it. I love road trip novels, and I generally really like dual narratives, where part of the story is told through flashbacks, so this one sounds great.

So, the cover's a bit Eye of Sauron-y, isn't it? But I like it all the same. Basically, everyone who has read this seems to absolutely adore it, and I trust my fellow bloggers' opinions. Dystopia, factions, secrets. It all sounds amazing to me.

Apparitions, secret organizations, mystery, and romance? This sounds like a paranormal/sci-fi that is definitely my taste. And how about that cover? I've seen so many people comment on how cool it is, and I totally agree.

Dead/dying sister with a secret novels seem to be coming out in droves lately, but there's no way I would skip a book by Elizabeth Scott. I mean, hello? She's Elizabeth Scott!!






Small Town Sinners by Melissa Walker

Melissa Walker is charming, stylish, and quite possibly one of the coolest girls ever. If that isn't enough, her books are amazing as well! If you haven't checked out the Violet series or Lovestruck Summer, you definitely should. As for this one, I'm always very interested in any mainstream book that deals with religion. Plus, serious cover lust for this one.

This is the dystopia that everyone has been talking about, and I, for one, cannot wait to read it! I think it will draw a lot of comparisons with 'Delirium' (Lauren Oliver) once that book is out, so I'm interested in comparing the two.





Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler

I only recently read Twenty Boy Summer, but I wish I had read it sooner. I'm pretty sure Sarah Ockler uses magic to write, because her words get put together so flawlessly. I fully expect this one to be just as lovely and heartbreaking as her first novel.





Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Well, this one has been hyped by every blogger and their mother. What can I say?? Their hype has worked, and I absolutely cannot wait to read it! I've been looking for a perfect YA romance, and I think this one will work splendidly.





The Book of Spells (a Private prequel) by Kate Brian

I was a bit skeptical when I first heard of this book. I thought "do even my beloved Private books have to be dragged into the YA paranormal genre??" ... but I'm willing to give it a chance, because I'm pretty sure Kate Brian (aka Kieran Scott) could write absolutely anything and make me love it.



Real Live Boyfriends (Ruby Oliver #4) by E. Lockart

Who is more lovely, hilarious, and neurotic than Roo? These books are amazing: they totally crack me up.
