Waiting on Wednesday (13)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where bloggers feature upcoming book releases that they're looking forward to.

This week I'm eagerly anticipating...

How I Lost You
by Janet Gurtler

Publisher: Sourcebooks Fire
Release Date: May 1, 2013

Synopsis (from Goodreads):
There are a few things Grace Anderson knows for sure. One is that nothing will ever come between her and her best friend, Kya Kessler. They have a pact. Buds Before Studs. Sisters Before Misters. But in the summer before senior year, life throws out challenges they never expected. And suddenly the person who's always been there starts to need the favor returned. Grace and Kya are forced to question how much a best friend can forgive. And the answer is not what they expected.

Add it on Goodreads.

I really enjoy Janet Gurtler's books -- they have such a great mixture of family, friends, and romance that, to me, make a great contemporary book. I love friendship books, and this one sounds intriguing!

  1. I'm so sad to see that the conflict is between two best friends-you need your best friend and I'm already rooting for them to be able to resolve their problems.

  3. These are all such cute books and I like that the covers go together, with the big circle and all. And a great find -- good friend stories can be hard to find!

  5. I should read more of Janet Gurtler's books. I've only read one, but it seems to be the one people regard as her weakest.
