Follow Friday (1)

Follow Friday is a weekly feature hosted by Rachel @ Parajunkee which allows book bloggers to connect with one another.

This week's question: Circle time! Time to share. What character in a book would you most like to be, what character in a book would you most like to date?

Ooh, a two parter. And it's a toughie!!

Okay, well... if I could be any character? Hmmm... Thinking of my favourite characters, they all seem to have someone trying to kill them, so that's a huge bummer. (Understatement). But the characters that came to mind were Hermione Granger, Tris from Divergent, and Katniss. I don't really want to be anyone but myself, but those characters all seem to share these traits: smart, brave, and loyal. Those qualities are very important to me.

As for who I would want to date? Well, that's more of an intriguing question, isn't it? ;) I'm going to go with a lesser known guy -- Jacob from North of Beautiful. He is just so, so lovely. Funny, quirky, and kind.

I can't wait to see everyone else's answers!

  1. mmm... Man Candy! Love it! Oh, and the Save a Tree Button! You are truly wonderful! And Cat and Bones are an amazing pick! Just wonderful!

Hmm... I think Anita Blake from that wonderfully long series by Laurell Hamilton. She kills zombies and defys vampires and is a kick a$$ chick! I would love to be able to do a thing or two as she does.

As for date! Too many to name! Let's go for any or ALL of the Dark Hunters from Sherrilyn Kenyon's series!

Zombies are for May!  Morbid Romantica Challenge links are up for Zombies along with a few book ideas.  Some I myself will be trying out! Stop by and let me know which Zombie book I should be reading!

  3. Oh Jacob is a good choice I loved him in the book. It's nice to have a person who will make you feel the way he did towards Terra

I really had a hard time with this week's question but I chose Jacob from the book Twilight. He's sweet and I love the underdog.

  8. Hey! New follower here--really like your blog! :) Sounds like some great character picks for who you'd like to be. But yeah, it would be nice being yourself. Kind of cool if you'd be in a novel and seeing the story play out, huh? ;)

  11. Fun picks. I love Katniss, but if I were in her spot I would have lasted about 3 seconds! I've got to get my hands on Divergent. It seems lots of people want to be the girl (or date the guy!)
    Happy Friday. New follower.
